The new project announced a month ago "New Project: Multi-class Classification & Trading Strategies" has come to an end. It has been an exciting journey with several blog posts shared with you along the way.

The new version of GeneXproTools with all the new features went live January 5 and it includes:

• 39 new math functions implemented in all the supported programming languages and all modeling platforms.
• Six new linking functions with discrete outputs implemented in Regression, Classification and Logistic Regression.
• New ways for doing both binary and multi-class classification.
• Two new genetic operators for more control over the root position (Fixed-Root Mutation & Conservative Fixed-Root Mutation) are now available for all algorithms in all modeling platforms.
• Speedups in Model & Ensemble Deployment to Excel.
• Extra feature for copying the model code as HTML accessible through the Edit Menu.
• More elegant code structure with "y" replacing the old "dblTemp" or "varTemp" in the model code.
• And improved data loading from text files to deal with odd formatting such as ".17" or "-.17" in data files.
