Installation asking to reboot?

On my Windows 8 computer the installation of GeneXproTools prompts me to reboot. If I try to run without rebooting it fails to start with the error 428, ActiveX component can't create object.
How can I avoid this?

It is a good idea to close down other applications when installing GeneXproTools. The reboot is probably caused by the fact that there is an application running that is locking a file that GeneXproTools installer needs to update. Although this is unfortunate it is not something that we can avoid.
