GeneXproServer 4.3
GeneXproServer is a batch processor of GeneXproTools runs that can be easily
integrated with any infrastructure and process to enable the discovery
and management of hundreds of models over different datasets
and generated under different settings.
Workflow
The process starts with an initial GeneXproTools 4.3 run and an XML job definition file
that can be created from scratch or from one of the several templates supplied. The job
definition file contains details about the number of runs, the data to load and the
settings to vary over the course of each run. Each run can last a finite number
of generations or a number of minutes or hours.
Integration
GeneXproServer ships in two different configurations: Windows and console mode.
The former is appropriate for desktop computers and to create job definitions,
whereas the console mode can be easily integrated with other systems and workflows.
Either mode provides facilities to trigger external applications before and after
each run and at the beginning and end of the job.
Open Results
The results of a job are stored in XML format that can be easily read
by your systems and stored in your content management system. In addition
GeneXproServer also creates an HTML report ready for analysis. To see an example of a job
report click here (Internet Explorer
8.0 and Chrome only).
Standalone and Add-on
GeneXproServer is installed as an add-on to GeneXproTools and also contains
an installer for deployment on computers where GeneXproTools is not installed.
This reduces overheads when deploying GeneXproServer on multiple servers.
GeneXproServer Results
During the execution of a job GeneXproServer creates a gep file
per run as well as several XML log files with details of each run and a report
that aggregates all the information into a single web page. You can download
two examples of job results: a Function Finding job
using the
Production sample run of GeneXproTools and a Classification job
based on the Iris-Virginica sample run.
Platforms
GeneXproServer is compatible with Windows 2000 Professional and Server,
Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista.
