Problems with Regsvr32

I downloaded gepsoft 5 on a different machine running with Windows8. I tried to use vb6 but after executing
regsvr32 GXPT4CFHelper.dll I got:
"module GXPT4CFHelper may not be compatible with Windows version (8, 64 bits).check that module is compatible with32 àr 64 bitsof regsvr32"
On the same machine I then tried gepsoft4, for which I have a license. This time I got:
"module has been loaded but calling DllRegisterServer failed with error 0x80004005"

You need to register the library using an elevated command prompt. In Windows 8 you need to press start then write cmd and then select the Administrator pin before starting the command prompt. If this fails right click the library, select properties and adjust the Compatibility Tab for Windows XP.
